Hi, I’m Breanne! I’m an international travel enthusiast, content creator, wife, and woman who finally gave herself permission to live a little softer.

When I went to Thailand last year, I fell in love with the peace, the beauty, and the ease that each day was filled with. After fully reflecting on that trip, I knew I wanted other Black women to experience the same feeling!

I’ve been blessed to travel the world and plan unforgettable trips, and the memories I’ve made with the women I’ve traveled with have stayed with me forever.

I’ve also attended retreats that completely shifted how I saw myself and what’s possible for my life. I know what it feels like to be stretched thin and still keep showing up. I also know how powerful it is to finally pause, and feel yourself exhale.

That’s why I created Black Girl Getaway.

This space is for the Black woman who’s constantly pouring into others. Now, she gets to be poured into.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, back to center, ready to move boldly into 2026, and confident enough to keep exploring the world on your own terms.

 FAQs

  • Yes. Every guest gets a private bedroom and bathroom. Room allocation is first come, first serve based on when you submit your deposit.

  • Your investment covers everything once you arrive: private accommodations, chef-prepared meals, curated excursions, transportation, a welcome massage, planning + soulwork sessions, and all retreat programming. Flights and travel insurance are not included.

  • No worries at all! This retreat was created with you in mind. Whether this is your first passport stamp or your tenth, you’ll feel supported every step of the way. Once you submit your deposit, you’ll get a detailed welcome guide covering everything from how to book your flight to what to pack. We’ll also have a pre-trip group call to walk through logistics, answer questions, and make sure you feel fully prepped (and excited!). You’ll never have to navigate this alone.

  • You’ll need a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity beyond your travel dates. No visa is required for U.S. passport holders staying under 30 days.

  • Absolutely! This retreat is built for Black women who are ready to choose themselves, whether with friends or on their own.

  • Not at all. Expect movement like light walking and excursions, but this retreat centers rest, not hustle.

  • We’ve got you! You’ll be asked about dietary needs before the trip, and our chef will create meals with care and intention.

  • We know things come up, so here’s what to know:

    • Cancel by August 15, 2025: Full refund of payments made, minus the $500 non-refundable deposit.

    • Cancel by September 15, 2025: 50% refund of total paid (minus deposit).

    • After September 15, 2025: No refunds will be given.

    Need to transfer your spot instead?
    You may transfer your full retreat spot to another guest if you notify us in writing by October 15, 2025. You’ll be responsible for finding someone to take your place, and they’ll need to complete any remaining balance by the deadline. We’ll provide a simple form to finalize the switch.
